Just take a copy of your house plans along to Clipsal's Powerhouse™ Showroom. The plans are scanned onto the Clipspec software by a Clipspec Electrical Consultant. Then using Clipsal's 84 page Essential Checklist and product displays, located at the Powerhouse, the Clipspec Electrical Consultant will take you through every room of your home making electrical and lighting recommendations.
Helping you pick and place the electrical and lighting accessories of your choice. In conjunction with planning your electrical and lighting needs. You'll receive first hand advice on home networking (smart wiring), home audio, home automation, as well as the latest and most up-to-date information on Clipsal electrical offering. During the consultation Clipspec will also provide a price guide to help you select and place products based on your budget, so you get to stay in control every step of the way.
The feedback from clients who have experienced the Clipspec program and visited the Clipsal Powerhouse has been very positive. Clients have been extremely impressed by the service and advice they have received at the Clipsal Powerhouse.

The whole process takes between 1-2.5 hours and you leave with a complete printed plan and electrical specification. All you need to do then is hand it to your professional builder or directly to your electrician.

In addition, the process is tailored for each customer at a formative stage of planning. Customers enter the selection centre with a blank sheet and leave with a finished plan.
